My personal website's page for sheet music is up and running now. It's a lot more simplistic compared to this site, but I'll have a lot greater control over the structure of the pages and it's a good way for me to exercise my web development skills.
This marks the end of this site. I will keep it live so anyone who hasn't gotten the memo can be redirected to the new site, but there will be little to no future activity here. The new site can be found here: 1230james.xyz/music

The transcription for "My Place" from Hello, Good-bye has been completed and published, and is available for download.
I don't have any more songs planned for the near future, unfortunately. On the other hand, I'm building a personal website from scratch. It'll be a lot less fancy than this site, but it'll be something I'd be proud of and have greater control over. It's not quite ready yet, but once it is finished, all content will be moved there and the homepage here will have a link to redirect you to the new site. Surprise! I actually finished it after not touching it for three years!
The song's page has been moved to the Completed list, and the download and embedded video are both already live. Enjoy! I'm planning on doing another song in the near future, but afterwards, music transcribing might fall to the wayside again as I prepare for my first year of college. Not going to lie; I only did it so that the image appears in URL preview embeds for the homepage is my current YouTube/Google avatar and not whatever the image for the featured work is.
Hope the homepage doesn't feel too clunky now. Title.
I also updated the page for Intruder Alert to match the new format, in case you cared. The score itself was also technically updated; I added an image to the front cover, and the archive has been updated to reflect it. No changes to the actual music have been made. New Transcription AvailableFirst transcription in about two years; hoo boy. The song Nameless Story (名も無き物語 in Japanese) is from Lump of Sugar's visual novel Hello, Goodbye, and a short version of it serves as the background music on the VN's title screen. My transcription is based on the full version which you can find online. Downloads and the video are all ready to go and available on its score page. You'll also notice (if you've been here before) that this song's page has a different layout than the rest. I'm planning on replacing the other songs' pages with this layout in the future, so stick around. "But James, where's Industrial Europe? It's been years!"The IndEC transcription is still in its early stages, even after all these years (I'm sorry). Transcribing music fell by the wayside for me over the years, so very little progress has been made on that sheet.
On the flip-side, I do still have the in-progress MuseScore file I have for it, so if I ever get around to doing it, I can continue from where I left off. And, as always, release date is TBD. Thanks for sticking around if you've been here a while, or welcome aboard if you're a new person! Holy fuzzy; I haven't been here in years.
Apparently this place still gets regular traffic. I'll be trying to clean up the site a bit in the near future. Sorry for the lack of content; high school and other interests ate up all my time. The Contact Me page and the email attached to the email form have been updated, so feel free to reach out to me if need be. |
